1. Faculty of Engineering and the Environment
Department of Mining Engineering
Bachelor of Sciences Honours Degree in Mining Engineering (4 Years Conventional/ Block)
Normal Entry:
5 Ordinary level Subjects including Mathematics and English Language and a relevant Science Subject.
2 Advanced level passes in Mathematics and Physics .
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
Department of Metallurgical Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Metallurgical Engineering (5 Years Conventional/ Block)
Normal Entry
5 Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a relevant Science Subject.
2 Advanced level passes in Mathematics and Chemistry
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Minerals Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
Department of Geomatics and Surveying
Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Geomatics and Surveying (5 Years Conventional/ Block)
Normal Entry
5 Subjects at Ordinary Level including English Language, Mathematics and a relevant Science Subject.
2 Advanced level passes in Mathematics and Physics
OR
Special Entry:
National Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
OR
Mature Entry:
25 Years old and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Surveying and Geomatics.
Department of Mathematics and Statistics
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Mathematics and Statistics (4 Years Conventional/ Block)
Normal Entry
5 Subjects at Ordinary Level including English Language, Mathematics and a relevant Science Subject.
2 Advanced level passes in Mathematics , or it’s recognized equivalence (Mechanics, Statistics or Pure Mathematics).
OR
Special Entry:
National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant area.
OR
Mature Entry:
25 Years of age with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
2. Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture
:Department of Animal Production and Health
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Science (4 Years Conventional/ Block)
Normal Entry
5 subjects at Ordinary level including English Language and Biology or Agriculture.
2 Advanced level passes in Biology or Agriculture and any of the following subjects or their recognized equivalents: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Food Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Geography.

Special Entry
A National Certificate or National Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Health and Production.
Department of Horticulture and Crop Production
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Crop Science (4 Years Conventional/ Block)
Normal Entry
5 Ordinary level passes at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics.
2 Advanced level passes in either Agriculture, Biology or Crop Science and any one of the following; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Food Science, Animal Science, Computer Science, Statistics and Geography.
OR
Special Entry
A National Diploma in Agriculture, Crop Production and Horticulture or equivalent.
OR
Mature Entry
25 years old plus 1 year relevant experience.
Department of Horticulture and Crop Production
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics (4 years Conventional/ Block)
5 Ordinary level Subjects/ National Foundation Certificate including English Language, Mathematics and a Science Subject.
Advanced level Passes in at least 2 Subjects; Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Business Management, Accounts, Agriculture, Food Science or their recognized equivalent.

Special entry
National Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Agriculture or relevant field from recognized institutions
MATURE ENTRY
23 years of age for females and 25 years for males, and at least 5 years of working experience in the relevant field.
Department of Animal Production and Health
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Production and Health (4 years Conventional/ Block)
5 Ordinary level Subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science Subject.

A Diploma in Agriculture or Animal Health and Production or it’s equivalent.
MATURE ENTRY
At least 25 years old plus 1 year of working experience in the relevant field.
Department of Horticulture and Crop Production.

Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting (4 Years Conventional/ Block / Weekend School)

2 Advanced level ‘ passes in at least 2 of the following Subjects : – Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, and any other commercial subject .
OR
Special Entry:
National Diploma in Accounting and requisite working experience.
OR
Mature Entry:
Applicant must be 25 years and possesses one year of relevant working experience.
Department of Marketing
Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing (4 Years Conventional/Block )
Normal Entry:

Special Entry:
