The Inaugural Gwanda State University Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, 18 November 2022 at Epoch Mine Campus, Sports Grounds from 1000hrs.
Each graduand is allowed to invite ONLY TWO guests.
The graduation ceremony proceedings will also be live-streamed on Zimbabwe Broadcasting Television (ZTV), ZBC Facebook page and on GSU website: www.gsu.ac.zw
Graduands should note the following:
Graduands and guests are required to be seated by 0830hours.
Outstanding Fees: Please note that only graduands whose fees are paid in full will be allowed to attend the ceremony.
Graduation fee (inclusive of academic regalia) is USD$130 or equivalent at interbank rate

Please ensure that you pay in time for the payment to reflect in the University accounts on or before the 31st of October 2022.
ACADEMIC REGALIA:
Graduands can collect their academic regalia from GSU Epoch Mine Campus, as from the
7th of November 2022.
DRESS CODE:
Graduands are advised to wear formal dark colours.
INVITATION CARDS:
Invitation cards will be available for collection at the Epoch Mine Campus, from the Admissions Office from 07th of November 2022.
Please note that, graduands are required to produce their GSU student IDs as well as their national IDs on collection of invitation cards. Invitation cards will not be issued on graduation day.
REHEARSALS:
Rehearsals for all graduands participating in the physical ceremony is mandatory and will be held on Thursday, the 17th of November 2022 at 1400 hours at the Dining Hall Epoch Mine Campus.
ACCOMMODATION: Limited accommodation is available on campus on a first-come, first-served basis for graduands and their guests at USD$10 per individual/ night (inclusive of linen).
COVID-19 GUIDELINES:
Production of a valid Covid-19 negative antigen test results issued within 48 hrs is mandatory. All Covid-19 protocols shall be observed.
GSU SECURITY CHECKPOINT:
All graduands and their guests will pass through a GSU Security checkpoint where their invitation cards will be verified. Only Two guests per graduand holding invitation cards will be allowed into the Graduation Arena.
NB: Please note that the following items will not be allowed into the graduation venue:
Lipstick, Make-up, perfume containers, sharp objects, knives, ballpoint pens and cameras.
