2. DEPARTMENT OF METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING

Minerals Engineering is an engineering discipline that involves the theory/science and practice/technology of processing mined minerals and resources. The minerals are processed to varying degrees of purity and then converted to products or objects that the society uses in everyday life.

Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Metallurgical Engineering (4 Years)

Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics AND

At least 2 ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Chemistry and any other Science Subject

OR

Special Entry:

A National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
